GET TO KNOW ME A LITTLE MORE

Hi and welcome to Oakleigh Photography, my name is Mel 

​and I'm an Equine and Canine photographer based in Bedfordshire. I travel all over the UK photographing the special members of our families, in the places that mean most or places that will create a lifelong memory.

​

I'm a mixture of a self taught photographer and one who has invested in working with other like minded photographers to create new ways of looking at things and enhancing my work.

I'm a firm believer that there is no more profitable investment than investing in yourself.

​

It'll be no surprise to you that I love animals; dogs and horses are the closest to my heart, however you might also find me on my friends farm in lambing season sneaking a little cuddle with the new babies or making friends with something random. ​

​

I'm a proud mum to my little boy and also my working cocker spaniel "Fallow" who is typical for her breed where she is a hundred miles an hour with her nose in everything possible, oh and has little spacial awareness.

I love hiking; either alone or in company. There are so many beautiful places in the UK that are on my list to explore but one of my favourite places is the Peak District.
